In addition to providing support for programs identified by the Foundation’s Board of Directors and Advisory Council, the Community Grants program was established to support the many local organizations currently doing important work for the benefit of the residents of Muhlenberg County. The Foundation sets aside funds for this competitive grants program annually. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, churches, public schools and government entities are invited to submit applications for new or expanded projects that address the educational, civic and cultural needs of the county. Awards are determined based on applications submitted as well as interviews and site visits. Grants are considered quarterly with final decisions generally made about 6 weeks after the application due date.
If you have questions about the application or want more information about whether your project qualifies for a grant, please contact our Director of Grants, Meredith Zahirovic at MeredithZ@cflouisville.org or (270) 977-9194.
